Installation Process

 

UNI Metal Door Frames are made using Electro-Galvanized Steel or Galvanized Iron Steel. UNI Metal Door Frames will not rot, warp, twist, or suffer from insect attacks. The UNI Metal Door Frames becomes an integral part of the wall and hence adds to itsstrength . UNI Metal Door Frames give you the flexibility of integrating with feature face brick or plastering. The UNI Metal Door Frames made to the exact requirements of the door for which they are intended. We include all parts where required to install the door frames together. The UNI Metal Door Frames requires no nails and lintel but just 6 steps.

Step1

Identify brickwork for which the door is connected.
  Step2

To prop up metal door frame, use two planks with nails at the ends. Ensure the correct direction of your door hinge then stand up the door frame. The nails on the plank should hook the edge of the frame.
 
Step3

To check whether the frame is properly plumbed, use the spirit level.
  Step4

Begin brickwork by laying the bricks into the rebate behind the back of the metal door frame.
 
Step5

Brickwork is done by placing mortar into each gap between the brick and frame for each layer. This is to ensure that the frame is properly filled give rigidness and strength. Becoming an integral part of the wall and frame will add to the strength.
  Step6

Special wire brick ties comes with each metal door frame. These ties are for bonding the brickwork to every fourth brick. When mortar is set, remove the spreader bar at base of the metal door frame.
